From what's happening in maternity fashion to what's happening in the world of motherhood. Here's where you can get updates info and insights - all straight from Rosie!
As a mom of three I know how long it has taken for me to find the brands I love and trust for the most important things in the world to me - my kids. I am very critical when it comes to the products we bring into our home. I read the research; discuss with friends and experts before I try something new. I bring this same critical eye to the companies I choose to work with.
So Pregnant in Heels Season 2 has kicked off with some controversial topics. From home birth to placenta eating, elimination communication and pregnancy Kama Sutra, I certainly have everything covered in this season it's crazy town!
I am also pregnant during this season (though I had our baby girl Vivienne Madison Pope on Sunday May 13) and while I may not request placenta smoothies, I have to admit I had the same anxiety as the rest of my clients. We all want to be the best parents we can be and sometimes this anxiety makes us do or request crazy things....

As we are preparing for the arrival of our new baby girl, I thought it was a great time to discuss with Dr. Jen Canter how she managed the big transition of a new sibling with her kids. She was able to provide some great bits of advice for parents who are adding to their family.

I am thrilled I was invited to host an evening to celebrate the book "The Super Adventures of Sophie and the City-All in a Day’s Work" written by Kelly Florio Kasouf (in the pic with me). The evening and the book were a perfect marriage between fashion and parenting (two things you all know I hold near and dear) and so I couldn't be happier to tell you more about this fabulous children's book.
For some inspiration for these last few weeks of winter, I have styled 5 looks from my new Spring 2012 Rosie Pope Maternity collection. Remember, when indulging in spring’s colors make sure to balance pops of colors with neutrals like navy, black, white, and nude. Enjoy!
So when I'm not pregnant I do like to indulge in coffee, especially a fun latte or cappuccino! I go cold turkey when I get pregnant but I have to admit while I find cutting caffeine out only a little tricky at first it is more the ritual of going to the coffee place and ordering something exciting mid-afternoon, perhaps with something tasty on the side, that I miss. This is why I started considering a decaf latte here and there to have the indulgence without the guilt of the caffeine. What I found though was quiet alarming some decaffeinated coffee has not been decaffeinated in a safe way. Let me summarize what I've discovered so that if you do choose to indulge you can find out what is safe and what is not.
Why "Selfish" Moms Might Just Be Better Moms
Is Gisele Bundchen a selfish mother? I don't think so, but the Twittersphere has blown up after she offered this controversial parenting advice.
